FIVE people have been taken to hospital after a car crash in WGC this afternoon (Tuesday).
An eight-year-old boy and a woman driver in her 30s both suffered back and pelvic injuries and were taken to hospital after the smash near Ascots Lane.
The pair were in a Ford KA.
A man driving a people carrier and three children were also involved.

He and two of the children were also taken to hospital with injuries, according to ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson.
Road closures remain in place.
