Two fires last Saturday were the work of arsonists say fire services.
The first was near the A414 recycling centre in Welwyn Garden City where rubbish had been set alight.
The second saw a skip on fire in Travellers Lane, Hatfield.
Both had been “deliberately set” according to Herts Fire Control’s twitter feed.
Crews from Welwyn Garden City and Hertford extinguished the recycling centre fire while a Potters Bar crew doused the Hatfield flames.
