Firefighters report to a blaze in Hatfield

Hatfield firefighters were called to a blaze “fueled by inappropriate accelerants”.

A crew from Hatfield Fire Station were sent to Furzen Crescent to extinguish what they think was a bonfire, after they received a call yesterday (Sunday) at 6:52pm.

When they arrived they found a “pile of rubbish” alight, and the flames were extinguished with a hose reel by 7:09pm.

Nobody was injured.
