Firefighters attended a fire out in the open in Welwyn Garden City

A crew from Welwyn Garden City Fire Station extinguished a fire out in the open.

The fire service was called at 8.01pm yesterday, to a small fire on the B1000 in Hertford Road, near the site of the former Panshanger Aerodrome.

One engine was sent out and firefighters put out the blaze with a hosereel.

The fire was out by 8.13pm.
