A FIRE broke out in a block of flats in WGC over the bank holiday weekend.
Firefighters from WGC and Hatfield were called to Park House, off Parkway, at around 3.30pm on Monday.
A fire had broken out in a cupboard used for waste disposal, and firefighters used three pumps to put out the flames, leaving only a small amount of smoke damage.
WGC crew commander Andy Esson said: “It looked a lot worse than it actually was.”
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
