A CAR was destroyed after a fire in a block of garages early this morning (Tuesday).
Firefighters were called to Wood Close, Hatfield, at 3.10am, after reports of flames climbing through the roof of one of the end garages.
Crews from Hatfield and WGC attended, extinguishing the fire in just over an hour.
A Vauxhall Cavalier was destroyed in the blaze, as well as smoke damage to a neighbouring garage.
