FIRE chiefs have warned the public not to copy the heroics of four police officers who saved a mother and baby from a fire at their home.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service has praised the selfless actions of the Hatfield Pcs who last week dragged mum Jodie Eyre and baby daughter Daniele from their smoke-filled flat
But Terry Sanders, commander at Hatfield Fire Station, warned would-be firefighters not to attempt similar rescues themselves.
