Film crews will descend on Welwyn Garden City town centre next Tuesday - but mystery surrounds exactly what is being filmed.
Welwyn Hatfield Council has placed advance warning signs of closures around Howardsgate and adjoining roads, but remain tight-lipped over the reason.
A spokeswoman said: “The roads in the town centre will be closed to facilitate night time filming.
“Howardsgate, Stonehills and Fretherne Road are closed from 6pm. A small section of Wigmores North between Caffè Nero and Blacks is closed from 3pm.
“The taxi rank will be moving from 3pm to Wigmores North.
“We do our best to ensure residents and businesses directly impacted by filming are aware of the details, but if anyone has any concerns whatsoever, please do get in touch.”
The town centre is no stranger to the silver screen, as it was the back drop to The World’s End, written and starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
