A family run Welwyn Garden City business has celebrated its third anniversary.

Care Herts, in Ridgeway, celebrated its annual get together and the company’s third birthday on October 22, at Shamrock Club in Welwyn Garden City.

The event was attended by over 50 participants including service users, family members and staff.

Care Herts is a family run business which provides person centred care for the elderly in Welwyn Garden City, Welwyn, Hatfield, Welham Green, Woolmer Green and Knebworth.

Addressing the audience, Care Herts founder Randika Dissanayake welcomed the participants and reviewed the progress the organisation made from last year to date.

There was also a ‘table of remembrance’ which included the photographs of all the service users who had passed away and a minute silent was observed by everyone.

The entertainment was provided by musician Dave Barber and everyone enjoyed the buffet which included sandwiches and some Asian cultural short-eats.
