Police have now reopened a road in Potters Bar that had to be closed due to fallen trees.

A number of trees on Coopers Lane Road, Potters Bar, have fallen down.

Officers closed the road while a tree surgeon arrived to clear the way.

A black Vauxhall Safira had to be recovered after its driver attempted to get round one of the trees, but ended up stuck in a ditch.

The way is now clear and the road is open.
