STAFF from branches of Hertfordshire-based Putterills will be taking part in the annual Rotary on Sunday, May 11, to raise money for the Herts Air Ambulance Appeal.

Director Lynne Putterill of Codicote, said: "Having an air ambulance saves vital minutes which save lives and I thought there must be something we can do."

Lynne said about 20 staff members would be walking.

"We are hoping for a really sunny day with plenty of fun," she added.

Staff at Putterills join Welwyn Hatfield MP Grant Shapps and WHT editor Terry Mitchinson in walking for the county's first air ambulance.

The walk begins in the Campus West car park, WGC with entrants able to start between 8.30am and 10.30am.
