THE fourteenth annual Essendon Village Gardens Open Day takes place today (Sunday).
Organised by the Friends of St Mary's Church, enjoy the event from 11.30am until 5pm.
As well as the open gardens, there will be stalls, plant sales, music and refreshments available throughout the day.
All funds raised will go towards the maintenance of the village church.
A "Rover Map", at a cost of �6 for adults and �0.50p for children, will give details and entry to every garden.
