Emergency services deal with A1(M) crash in Hatfield Tunnel.


Police, fire and the ambulance service attended a collision this morning in the Hatfield Tunnel on the A1(M).

Police were called at 9.02am today to reports of a collision on the A1(M), southbound in the Hatfield Tunnel.

A police spokeswoman said: “There were two vehicles involved – a green Mazda MX-5 and a white HGV.”

Two lanes out of three were closed by the police while the fire and ambulance services attended to treat patients with injuries.

All lanes are now open.
