FORMER Welwyn Hatfield Labour group leader Margaret Birleson has said today may be a good day for the party locally.
While out at a polling station in WGC yesterday (Thursday), a black cat crossed her path.
Assuming it was a good sign, the Hollybush ward candidate said: “I was at a polling station at Creswick School yesterday when a black cat went past me.
“That can only be a good thing.”
There are conflicting views as to whether a black cat crossing your path is either good or bad luck, depending on where in the world you are and your culture.
