AN ELDERLY pedestrian was hurt after being involved in a collision with a van this afternoon (Monday).

The crash, outside Charter House, in Parkway, Welwyn Garden City, took place at just before 3pm.

The extent of the woman’s injuries is not yet known, but a Pcso at the scene said she had “banged her arm” after she had “fallen”,

East of England Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “It was a road traffic collision involving a van and a pedestrian.”
