A brand new MINI Countryman was delivered to Mount Grace School from Stephen James MINI retailer in Enfield.

The roof design on the MINI was created by Year 10 pupil Alex Taylor who won the MINI Rooftop Competition organised by Stephen James earlier this year.

The design has now been ‘shrink-wrapped’ on to the MINI Countryman.

The car was on display at school throughout the week as part of the ADT Department’s Art Week, and Alex’s parents are able to drive the MINI this weekend.

Alex and 14 others have also been invited to tour the MINI plant in Oxford.

She said: “Winning the competition for my MINI design made me extremely proud of myself and seeing the car in real life made the experience even better.

“I did not expect to win such an amazing opportunity so I am very happy and grateful to have been rewarded in such an amazing way.

“I am thankful to everyone who has helped me throughout this competition.”

A Stephen James MINI spokesperson said: “Alex’s design captured the competition brief and essence of the MINI Countryman perfectly.”
