A WGC pre-school group has hailed an “outstanding hat-trick” after another one of its premises scooped a glowing Ofsted report.

Knightsfield Pre-Schoolers, which has been based at Homerswood Primary and Nursery School for 14 months, was granted top marks by inspectors in their assessment published this month.

The ‘outstanding’ rating follows the same grading at Attimore Barn Pre-School and The Commons Pre-School, Breakfast and After School Club, which are also owned by Claire Mason and Tina Covill.

Manager Kim Brewer said: “We are thrilled with this Ofsted award as it really reflects the hard work put in by the team and their determination to succeed over the past 14 months.

“They really are inspirational ladies and we also thank Homerswood Primary and Nursery School for their amazing partnership support in welcoming us onto their school grounds.”

The report said: “All children make excellent progress from their starting points.

“They learn exceptional mathematical skills; they identify numbers, shapes and colours.

“Children become very effective communicators and have a wealth of opportunities to develop their thinking skills.

“Children are extremely well motivated, confident and self-assured.

“They gain excellent skills to support their future learning.”
