A new Welwyn Garden City free school has been given the go ahead to open by the government.
This is part of the government’s commitment to open 500 free schools over the next five years which will create 270,000 school places across the country.
Herts International Christian School has been granted permission to set up a primary school in Peartree in WGC to help deal with the need for school places in the area.
