Lecturers at Hatfield’s University of Hertfordshire have started a two-day strike, as a programme of stoppages over a national pay claim gets underway.

Members of the University and College Union, which represents more than half of academic staff, will maintain morning picket lines on both the de Havilland and College Lane campuses today and tomorrow.
