A future with the Royal Marines beckons for Tewin girl Natalie Wade.
The youngster, who studied at St Edmumd's College in Ware, achieved four A grades in German, French, Maths, Further Maths
A school spokesman said: "As an accomplished musician, Natalie is now hoping to join the Band of the Royal Marines, based in Portsmouth and also study for a music degree.
Headmaster Chris Long said: "I am absolutely delighted with this year's A-level results.
"All our results are up on last year's and 15 of our students have achieved three or more A grades - that's a fantastic achievement.
"I am very proud of all our students for their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm for their subjects.
