Stanborough School achieved 46% of A*-B grades in their A-level results.
A notable achiever at Stanborough School, in Welwyn Garden City, was Lewis Barnes, who got three A* and one A grade, and will go on to York University to study Economics.
Also, James Harrison gained three A* grades, and will study Theoretical Physics at Imperial College London.
Headteacher Peter Brown said: “This was a fantastic achievement from our Year 13 cohort and it reflects very well on the hard work and dedication put in by the students and teachers at Stanborough as well as the support given at home by parents.
“We are delighted for our Year 13 students who have gained the grades they need to enable them to go to their university of choice.”
