Sir Frederic Osborn School have recorded their best A-Level results for five years.
The percentage of students who have achieved three or more A*-C grades at A-level or equivalent has risen sharply at the Welwyn Garden City school and the overall average grade a student achieves on any course is now a grade C.
The school achieved 41 per cent A*-B grades.
Glen Pettengell, Sir Frederic Osborn School headteacher, said: “The results affirm the rapid improvements we have made this year in student progress and the quality of teaching.
“We are delighted that the hard work and efforts of students, staff and parents have secured improvements in our A-level grades.
“This has enabled many of our students to pursue their chosen higher education pathways.”
