Sherrardswood School achieved 47.2% of A*-B grades in their A-level results.
For AS levels, 39.2% of grades achieved were an A or B.
Mrs Wright, head of senior at the Welwyn school, said: “I am so proud of our students, they have worked really hard and deserve their success.
“They were a delightful year group and the team spirit and motivation they showed this year was an inspiration to our younger students.
“All the staff wish them the very best for their exciting futures.’
