EXPANSION plans at a village primary school are set to go ahead.
Herts County Council has recommended that St Micheal’s Woolmer Green School boost its numbers by 10 to make sure there is enough space for kids from Welwyn and Knebworth.
More than half of those quizzed supported the move where 36 per cent of consultees disapproved of the plans.
Objectors thought the expansion would make traffic worse and increase play time noise but HCC has decided to plough ahead with its plans.
It may still not go ahead however with senior councillors meeting on Monday to decide whether to proceed.
