GIRLS at The Wroxham School are celebrating after triumphing in a football tournament organised by Arsenal Ladies.
The tournament, held at Mount Grace School, featured youngsters representing primary schools from across Potters Bar.
After an intense group stage, the final was between Ladbrooke and Wroxham, with the latter winning 1-0 in a close encounter.
The Wroxham School’s head coach Luke Owers said: “The girls played outstanding football throughout the tournament.”
He also praised the organisation of the event, which had been led by Arsenal and England captain Faye White.
