YOUNGSTERS at a Potters Bar play scheme became pirates and princesses for the day at a special themed event.
The children, aged from four to seven, enjoyed treaure hunts, role play and plenty of games at the Furzefield Centre.
Creche supervisor Hannah Donaghy said: “We chose pirates and princesses because it is the children’s favourite theme and they really enjoy doing pirates treasure hunts and princess role play.
“We like to involve the children when it comes to planning the activities of the week so that they can make suggestions, and bring new ideas based on their interests to playscheme.”
The centre is managed by Hertsmere Leisure in partnership with Hertsmere Borough Council.
