Open University visiting Welwyn Garden City tomorrow
TUTORS from the Open University (OU) will be in WGC town centre tomorrow (Saturday), providing information for anyone interested in furthering their education.
OU tutors will be on hand between 9am and 5.30pm in the Howard Centre, to answer questions about courses, learning methods, financial assistance and to guide visitors through the prospectus. There is no need to book an appointment.
The OU is offering potential students the opportunity to talk to tutors directly, in a relaxed and informal environment and to ask any questions they may have about studying with the OU.
The event is being aimed at those who have not studied with the OU before or who have had a few years away from study.
It will provide an opportunity to find out more about the courses that the OU offers; what is available in the Welwyn Hatfield area and how study can be fitted around work and family life.
