A pre-school in Tewin recently celebrated achieving ‘outstanding’ in all areas after an Ofsted inspection.
Tewin Under-fives Pre-school celebrated its glowing report with a party on Wednesday, April 20 for all the children and the parent carer committee.
The pre-school received an ‘outstanding’ rating for effectiveness of the leadership and management, quality of teaching, learning and assessment, personal development, behaviour and welfare and outcomes for children.
Founded in 1996, the preschool is a non-profit making charity which is funded by fees from parents and carers and nursery education grants for three and four-year-olds.
Pre-school leader Melissa Ford said: “I am lucky to have such a dedicated team who support our aim of providing the best possible start for our children and their families.”
The preschool is looking for a new volunteer chairperson to help run it along with other committee members. Anyone interested should email tewinunderfives@hotmail.com
