North Mymms to become ‘British hub for flight studies’

Mysteries of the animal kingdom will be explored in a “unique” research centre at a Welwyn Hatfield centre of learning.
Scientists at the Royal Veterinary College will be able to better study how creatures move, after plans for an extension to the Location Research Group’s building were approved by Welwyn Hatfield Council planners.
The refurbished North Mymms base will feature a wind tunnel, which documents describe as a “British hub for flight studies” and will be one of only three similar units in the world.
