A new Welwyn Garden City headteacher has big amibitions for Sir Frederic Osborn School

It is all change for a Welwyn Garden City school as it welcomes its latest headteacher

Jed Whelan has taken over from Glen Pettengell at Sir Frederic Osborn School and has great ambitions for the school.

He said: “I want it to become a world class centre for education and with learning at the heart of our community.”Prior to joining Sir Frederic Osborn School, Mr Whelan was headteacher at Letchworth’s Fearnhill School and had spent eight years there.
