NEW children’s play equipment has been installed in two villages.

The apparatus was unveiled at recreation grounds in Welham Green and Little Heath.

The total cost of the equipment was just over 41,000, a sum funded by Welwyn Hatfield Council, North Mymms Parish Council and Hertfordshire County Council.

Parish council chairman Teresa Travell said: “North Mymms Parish Council is delighted that the play areas have been updated and hope that children and families in the parish will enjoy the new equipment for many years to come.”
