Hertfordshire County Council agrees �20m primary school expansion

MORE than �20m could be spent on expanding Hertfordshire’s primary schools from next year.
Hertfordshire County Council approved the programme on Monday, which could see eight schools – including St Michael’s in Woolmer Green – expanded to create an extra 171 places.
Welwyn St Mary’s has also been earmarked for temporary expansion.
