The winners of Welwyn Hatfield’s Dragons’ Apprentice Challenge have gone on to duplicate their success – also winning the Master Prize for the whole of Hertfordshire.
Team Falcon, made up of seven pupils from Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School, was announced as winner of the Welwyn Hatfield Dragons’ Apprentice Challenge in March.
But more recently, as newly-crowned Master Prize winners (and as part of their prize) the girls visited Salesforce Tower in London and they will also hear a talk from gold medal-winning Paralympian, Naomi Riches.
The girls said in a joint statement: “We were beyond overwhelmed to have found out that not only had we won Overall Winners but also the Master Prize.
“We would never have expected to have done so well in this challenge.”
