Hatfield man to represent UK in Germany

A TEACHER from Hatfield will be one of only four to represent the UK at a Microsoft-run education meeting in Berlin.

Simon Horleston, who works at Howe Dell, will be attending the European Innovative Teachers’ Forum in March, following a virtual classroom tour he sent to Microsoft.

He sent the video after being inspired by headteacher Debra Massey’s invitation to attend the Global Microsoft Innovative Teachers’ Forum as a judge in Brazil and the Hatfield school’s recent accomplishment being rewarded a Becta Quality Mark for ICT.
