A PRINCIPAL for a new free school due to open in Hatfield next year has been appointed.
Dr Sue Attard, currently headteacher of Lark Rise Primary Academy in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, will become Hatfield Community Free School’s first ever principal, when she joins in April 2012, ahead of the school’s opening in September.
Parents interested in sending their children to the new school, to be built on the site of the former New Briars Primary School in Briars Lane, will be able to meet Dr Attard and members of the school steering group at a Meet The Principal event next Tuesday, November 8.
Light refreshments and activities for children will be provided.
The event will be held at Onslow St Audrey’s School in Old Rectory Drive, Hatfield, from 7pm.
