A Harry Potter director and a film technician who worked on The Godfather films visited Hatfield to see University of Hertfordshire buildings opened in their honour.
The Mike Newell Soundstage commemorates the director of Four Weddings and a Funeral and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, while the Walter Murch Post-Production Lab is named after a sound designer and picture editor who worked on the last two Godfather films and Apocalypse Now.
