STUDENTS and staff at Stanborough School in WGC are celebrating today (Tuesday) after a “fantastic” set of GCSE results.
A total of 80 per cent of pupils gained five A*to C grades, with 60 per cent of students gaining five A* to C grades in English and Mathematics.
Peter Brown, headteacher of the Lemsford Lane school, said: “This is a really fantastic achievement for our students and staff who have worked so hard to make sure that each person gets the best grades possible.
“It is a tribute to their dedicated study and hard work.
“We are really proud of the high achievement of Stanborough students, the majority of whom will now continue their studies in our very successful sixth form.”
