“OUTSTANDING” GCSE results are being celebrated at Onslow St Audrey’s School in Hatfield today (Tuesday).
A record-breaking 74 per cent of students gained A* to C grades at the Old Rectory Drive-based school.
One fifth of all subjects taken were passed at A* to A grade and a total of 98.7 per cent of students achieved at least five passes.
Headteacher Paul Meredith said: “Our GCSE results are outstanding.
“In the previous four years the school has made good progress, but the 2010 results are fantastic news for the young people of our community.”
Mr Meredith added: “This has been a real team effort.
“Staff and students have worked so hard and they deserve this success.”
