THE headteacher of Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School has praised her students after another top-notch year of GCSE results.
Theodora Nickson is delighted with the 75 per cent of girls who achieved at least five A* to C grades at the Woods Avenue school.
Overall, 33 per cent of all the grades were either A* or A, with impressive results in Maths, ICT and the triple Sciences.
Ms Nickson said: “We are incredibly proud of our girls’ achievement which is a real testament to the hard work put in by the girls and their teachers.
“There is no doubt in my mind that a positive attitude from the girls about their learning, strong parental support for the school and excellent teaching from staff all contribute to this brilliant set of results.”
