Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School staff and pupils are celebrating this morning after GCSE results were collected.
Headteacher Theodora Nickson said: “Today’s GCSE results are a further improvement on last year’s excellent results and have given cause for much celebration among all members of the school’s community.”
Outstanding results were achieved by, amongst others, Natasha Walton who gained 6A*s and 4As and Daisy Butler received 4A*s and 6As.
Mrs Nickson added: “We are particularly proud of our Progress 8 score which shows the difference we can make from a student’s starting point on entry to the school – this again improved on last year and is evidence of high quality teaching at the school.”
