Chancellor’s School had 65 per cent of students achieve five or more A*-C grades including English and Maths.

They also had 15 students achieve 10 or more A* or A grades, and a third of students achieved at least one A* grade.

The EBACC (which measures the percentage of students who achieved six A*-C grades in English, maths, two sciences, a modern foreign language and geography or history), was 38 per cent.

Stephanie Mabbutt did exceptionally well, achieving 11 A* grades, and Julia Kal achieved eight A* grades and two A’s.

School head teacher, David Croston, said: “I should like to congratulate the students on a superb set of examination results, which are a result of their effort and also the hard work and dedication of our outstanding and professional staff.”
