MONK'S Walk School in WGC is celebrating a record-breaking year.
Headteacher Philip Bunn said: "Quite simply, an outstanding set of results. By far the best GCSE results in the school's history.
"The students have performed brilliantly and should be congratulated on a superb effort.
"My thanks and congratulations also go to the staff for all their dedication and professionalism in preparing the students for such fantastic examination results.
"This now puts the school into the premier league of Hertfordshire schools which is something we have been working toward for a while."
He added: "A record number of students will now enter the sixth-form in September to study A-levels, which shows that the future is very bright indeed for the school.
"I am very proud of everyone and absolutely delighted with our achievements this year.
