YEAR 11 students at Dame Alice Owen's School were today celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results.
A total of 93 per cent of students secured five A*-C grades and 89 per cent achieving five A*-Cs including English and maths, with 61 students securing all A* and As.
Overall, 63 per cent of all entries were A* or A.
Dr Alan Davison, headteacher of the Potters Bar school, said: "This is an excellent set of results which truly reflect the quality of teaching and commitment of the students to their studies.
"I am delighted with their success.
