ALL but one per cent of pupils at Sir Frederic Osborn School in WGC left with at least one GCSE.

The pass rate for students getting five or more exams at A*-C was 43 per cent.

Head Sue Lewis said: "A lot of the more able students have achieved outstanding grades. This is through hard work and enthusiasm by them and the staff."

The top girl was Shannon O'Flaherty, who notched three A* grades and eight As. Paul Graham was top boy, with five A*s, four As, three Bs and a C grade.

Nearly a third of pupils will be returning to sixth-form at the Herns Lane school.
