NEARLY a quarter of pupils were absent from a WGC school last week after developing “flu-like symptoms”.
About 250 students could not attend Stanborough School in the week before the half-term break.
A county council spokeswoman said the illness could not be confirmed as swine flu, but did not rule it out.
She added: “Luckily not many staff were affected.”
