Hatfield youngsters got in the Easter mood with a bonnet parade and a disco before their school holiday.
The Friends group at Hatfield Community Free School organised a bonnet parade and two discos, one for reception children, and another for years one and two.
Organiser Melissa Moss told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “The Easter bonnets were amazing. It was really difficult to choose winners. There were some great ones. When the kids saw the disco they just went Wow’.
The winner of a colouring competition won an Easter egg donated by Waitrose.
Together with an earlier Mother’s Day event, the disco and parade raised about £600 for the Briars Lane school.
