SIXTH-FORMERS at Stanborough School in WGC have been praised for their top marks in today’s A-level results.
More than half, 53 per cent, of all entries were grades A*, A and B.
Peter Brown, headteacher at the Lemsford Lane school, said: “We wish to congratulate our students on their tremendous achievements in this year’s A-levels.
“We are very proud of their success, which are a testament to the hard work they and their teachers have put in.”
He added: “We are particularly delighted that, as a specialist school for mathematics and computing, our results are so high in those subjects, and our students are pursuing their learning in these and associated subjects at the highest possible level, including Oxford and Cambridge.”
