IT’S the moment of truth for thousands of students today (Thursday) as they pick up their A-level exam results.
The ex-sixth-formers will be heading back to their schools and colleges this morning, after an anxious summer waiting for their grades.
For many, university places will be at stake – and for those whose grades aren’t quite what they had hoped for, the frantic clearing process to negotiate.
And this might carry heightened significance this year, with tuition fees of up to 9,000 coming in for courses starting in September.
The Welwyn Hatfield Times and Potters Bar Edition will bring news from our schools and colleges later today – come back to www.whtimes24.co.uk later for more.
