A TOTAL of 16 per cent of all A-level grades at Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School were A* or A this year.
And, also within the 100 per cent pass rate, three-quarters of grades were at C or above.
The girls who studied at the Woods Avenue, Hatfield, school are now getting set for university. There, they will be studying a diverse range of subjects, from biomedical science and English with American literature, to international relations and politics, and events management.
Headteacher Theo Nickson said: “At a time when we have seen so much disaffection among young people, albeit a minority, it is reassuring to see our students succeeding in their studies and progressing on to top universities to continue their education.
“The girls have worked with dedication over the last year, supported by their teachers and we wish all our leavers the very best of luck in the future, whether they are heading for more study, employment or spending some time travelling.”
