A-level results: Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School

CELEBRATING another “fantastic” and successful A-level results day are sixth form pupils of Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School.

Headteacher at the Woods Avenue school, Theodora Nickson, said there was a 100 per cent pass rate with 52 per cent of all grades being either an A*, A or a B.

She said: “We particularly congratulate those girls who have achieved the new A* grade which has been awarded across the country for the first time this year.

“All the hard work put in by the girls and their teachers has definitely paid off and we wish all our leavers the very best of luck in the future, whether they are heading for more study, employment or spending some time travelling.”
